Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I’ve been wanting to try Jack’s since they opened and my opinion is a mixed bag. For value, I would give them a 5. My cheeseburger and generous helping of fries was only $5 total, which is an amazing bargain. The burger was very good with a bun that had a chewy texture and the meat had a peppery spice that gave it a little zing. The fries were a total disappointment, tho as I think they had been under a heat lamp. Warm but not hot, the outside was slightly dried out while the inside was soft. I rarely order fries to go as it is nearly impossible to get them right. I would go back but opt for a different side. Great value if you have kids."
"The food and service here was very good. The prices and specials had options for everyone. The biscuits were fresh hit and buttery they melted in your mouth. The green beans were flavorful with a little kick. The chicken was hot and juicy. The burger was good with fresh toppings and no cheese you have to ask for cheese. The potatoes and gravy were also delicious. The bathroom was clean and so was the dining area. They did have a drive thru but we went inside. They had nice big tables for larger families. The staff were friendly and professional. Ten out of ten totally recommend the food here."
"Been on a job for a few weeks near this restaurant. Always hot and on point. They are consistently good. The restaurant was always clean, too."
"I personally love the grilled chicken. The grilled chicken biscuits aren't menu favorites but they are mine and I'm perfectly willing to pay extra for it. The service for the most part is great, that being said I travel alot and to multiple states so I go to many different locations. The service isn't the same everywhere you to. That's unfortunate The atmosphere inside is welcoming and pleasant"
"The food was fresh. Wish they still had the Mac and cheese. The young lady with pink hair in the window was very sweet and quick."
"The staff here is great, they had a smile on their faces and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The food was hot and yummy. The only thing I'd change is there being a soda refill machine in the lobby where you eat."
"The restaurant was clean, and the staff friendly and courteous. My order was prepared correctly. And the food was good."
"This is my second review for this place. The first one is below. I love Jacks! Their fried chicken is juicy and delicious and there milk shakes are the best in town! The mac is back but I haven't tried it again recently. I'll let you know. When it first opened, this store was surprisingly good but it’s gone downhill ever since. I’ve tried everything on the menu and regularly bought the burgers, milkshakes and mac & cheese. They had the best mac & cheese in town and my favorite milkshakes. Well now they don’t even carry the mac & cheese. The burgers are thin and dry with big dry buns. They are literally always out of something. I’d say they only have milkshakes 65% of the time. Tonight I got a milkshake that wasn’t the milkshake at all. It was a cup of ice cream with a little bit of milk in it and barely mixed. I had to take it home and put it in a blender and add milk. If I wanted to make a milkshake, I would not have driven there and paid money for one. The store is obviously run by teenagers who are not trained and are not supervised. Just more evidence of the decline of civilization. Several months have passed since I wrote the above review of this store. I was happy to see that the mac & cheese is back so I ordered some. For four dollars, the tiny container was about half full. I should have taken a photo before I started eating it but I hope this photo captures the level. The uneaten portion is the original level of the whole thing. Pitiful"
